Your car gets marked with a number and is surveilled anytime you are in the city, you get robbed by the government by tolls, forced to pay for insurance and cops can stop you at anytime and pull you off the road to be harassed for any reason.
True sadly but cars are so fun it's still worth it to have one

As long as you use the crosswalks, and don’t jaywalk…….you almost certainly will go unnoticed.
Another free tip…….do not carry a backpack.
Wear clothes that have a lot of pockets instead.
Carry the big stuff, that won’t fit in pockets, in your hands.
A car is a huge sign, to the robots, to stop you.

Here in the US, it’s too dangerous because you could get struck by a street racer on the highway or be shoot because of road rage

Unfortunately having a car is needed to do much of anything, unless you want to spend hours surrounded by homeless drug addicts and criminals for a trip that would otherwise take 15 minutes. I love paying a noteworthy portion of my earnings just so I can be a worthless slave for society
