LDAR Don't know how to talk anymore

For few years now this problem has been getting worse. I walk past an old person in the street and I know I should say hello,so I look at them and try to vocalise it, but the last 10 times I tried this over a long period all I can do is barely whisper it and I look even more weird than if I didn't talk at all. I think it's from anxiety as I don't really have good experiences trying to talk to people. But even on games, I can't talk on the mic. Some American guys were laughing on DayZ about how I must be non verbal or don't know the button for mic because I was communicating with gestures. How do I fix this or is it too late because it does feel too late. I have nothint to talk about past a hello anyway.

the worst part is sometimes you just blurt out things that dont exactly fit with the context of the conversation because your brain doest know how to word a proper response. people look at you like you said 2+2=5

I'm like this too. I went to the doctors and she immediately shoved the idea off the shelf. She said it's due unfortunate experiences and isolation.

I consider myself semi-mute due to all the lack of human contact I have. This forum keeps me sane.

yeah i can conversate when i have friends but with strangers i just utter one word unless there's something real to say, its the only way to not feel uneasy. and i have trouble raising my voice. i cant talk online properly either

Butal How old are you? i got a similar problem, after a certain age it may never be fixed
