Confirmed: if you do not like dogs, you won’t fit in to most corporate jobs. Especially if you want to work in marketing or the sports industry - you had better learn to pretend to like dogs.

I worked in the sports industry for the last four years, baseball and ice hockey, I can confirm that sports clubs love dogs, and they encourage their athletes to use dogs for therapy. Plus, the fans are all dogtards. Cats are never mentioned in a good way, sadly.

Yeah, sports jobs are tough, because - dogs randomly would show up at the most random places, while I’m trying to work. Our mascot was urinated on a few times, same with a cosplay actor (C-3PO from Star Wars, we hired him for a few gigs) his leg was pissed on, because the shitbeasts mistook him for a fire hydrant.

I had a Foid recently, and of course, her little yappy wasn't on a leash. Naturally, he came running up to me and started sniffing around my things. I yelled at the Foid to keep her flea-infested mutt away from me and my property, and that there are leashes for that, and they're also required by law. Of course, the foid didn't like that and wanted to get cheeky, but I'd already had quite a few drinks and became really aggressive. She got scared and moved on.
