this might seem like a fedpost, idk, i'm just curious


many mods here have (relatively) low postcounts, and don't participate that much in discussions, but i assume that they spend many hours moderating. the website doesn't have any ads, so do the mods just do it as a hobby? do they have alt accounts which they use to post?

this website makes some money from ads and premium subscriptions. but I would have to guess that it's barely anything. also mods don't make any money from this site

If you give some money to @Master you can get a special membership color, this was in place at some point but idk if it's still on

yeah that's what weirds me out, and @Master barely even posts here (i guess maybe he has an alt he uses to post?), i did read on the wiki that he is rich but i think that was a troll article lol

in reality to prevent most ddoss attacks you just have to let cloudflare host it for you and its easy. ive done it before
