It was a different era, before cellphones and social media had become ubiquitous. These days, there's a lot more tragic waste that goes on, both of men and females who would've made perfectly good marriage material in a patriarchal society.

My prime was mostly from 2000-2008, and I spent most of the first three years of that feeling depressed (and getting chastised for passing most of my days getting high, working at fast food restaurants, and playing video games), before spending four and a half years in a fundamentalist religious cult that was so strict as to essentially require celibacy (and even NoFap), and then spent a year basically as a volcel, editing Wikipedia and running for Congress before getting locked up for almost four years. You know the rest of the story.

I have some pleasant memories, but it was kind of hit-or-miss because I also had a lot of miserable experiences and didn't really consider myself happy. I tried many different antidepressants -- Paxil (which impelled me to carry out a school shooting with a urine-loaded Super Soaker), Zoloft (which sent me into a suicidal depression that impelled me to steal money from a McDonald's cash register to buy a gun with which to kill myself), Wellbutrin (which sent me to the hospital with a seizure), Serzone, etc. I'm actually happier now, even though I'm not getting any pussy.

I think it's too late to do anything about the balding, but I'm kinda alt-right anyway, so maybe I'll just go with the skinhead look, I dunno. Back when I was an accountant, I figured I'd go with the combover and glasses.
