yes. Step-fathers are a thing yes but i have seen enough whores running to several men leading to the kids never getting a chance to bond with a step-dad/step-dads.

Also there is no guarantee the step-dad would try to create a relation with or partake in parenting his step-child.

yes indeed funny that. i have a story about that if your interested.

one kid i used to go to school with had 7 step-dads from elementary school to high school. His mother got kids with all the men, leading to several half siblings. Whore mother feels guilty and try to figure out a way to make her first child (kid from school) meet his half siblings, since he have seen em all.

That kid did not have a father figure for more than 2 years before it got replaced with a new one, as such he never got the chance to build a relation with anyone of them. Many dads but no father. He ended up acting in similar manner to the fatherless kids.
