The person who looked into his background made some assumptions that either ended up not being the case or have no definitive proof. One is that the picture is from January 25th 2012. No, that was when Facebook last updated its color coding. Going by this, an account made in early 2013, and something about the tiles looking Serbian, the researcher assumed that it was him.
Forget that this guy could've seen the pic anytime from the 4Chan post in August 2013 to four years later when he was discovered. My suspicion is that the first thread about him is the 4Chan one that now exists only as a screenshot. No idea who he is and I doubt anyone will ever find out.
