Does anyone here ever feel like they don't relate to their family members?

I sometimes do. I feel like an alien, usually when I'm around them.

I realized yesterday (when visiting my aunt, uncle, and cousins) that their obsessed with flashy objects, shoes (or sneakers), and expensive clothings whilst I don't desire what they want. I just desire peace, security, minimalism, and stability, on top of being frugal.

I guess this all in terms of your personality, ideals, likings compared to you and your families.

Yeah, my cousins are all slayers and my sis is a stacy so of course I cant relate.
