I seriously hate reading about animals being hurt, extinctions, hunting etc... It doesn't phase me at all watching graphic videos of mexican cartel executions, but anything as much as an animal being sad touches me, I need to avoid it and read something else immediately.
And what we're doing to the environment touches me a bit too. Mainly because of its impact on animals.
Although I don't do anything about it. And irl I don't even say these things. I remember one time in class last year I was asked something about the environment, and I claimed that those ideas are silly and that jobs were more important. But that's what I do irl, I say shit I don't mean, the opposite of what I actually think. I just didn't want to sound like a naive idealist, cause the general tone was that those environmentalists are silly.
