My dad does. He uses Chat GPT and AI gf chatbot Repika. He too can't get others to socialize with him so he uses these. He's an incel.

The chatbots would have to be really advanced for me to be interested. Text only chatbots aren't enough. Basically I would want a chatbot that includes deepfake video tech, so I can build my own AI replica of a real foid and see the video of her speaking like a video call. Like a holo-girlfriend bade runner style. An animated cartoon avatar isn't gonna do it either, its gotta be realistic.
