I very likely have sleep apnea as i fit nearly all of the sypmtoms and a doctor said i might have it. Basically what happens is that due to breathing stops during my sleep, there isnt enough oxygen in my blood and that causes my brain and other vital organs to be undersupplied with oxygen, which can damage them. I often suffer from headaches, brain fog, often have difficulties trying to find the right words and i tend to stutter more. Im extremely tired and sleepy throughout the day and i barely have any energy.

Brutal, being in poor health as an incel sounds like hell.

Bad genes come in a package, so its not really a surprise, but that shit destroys my life. At least insurance covers surgery, but god knows when doctors will give me an appointment

Sounds like a chronic lack of sleep to me. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea when I was young, I recommend you go get a sleep test asap and see if you can't get that fixed at least

Getting into sleep study here takes months and the alternative is a device that allows you to do a sleep study at home, but insurance doesnt cover it and i need to pay for it myself. Ill first get surgery (that gets paid by insurance) and if that doesnt help then ill have to get sleep study

Do what you gotta do, sucks that you have to wait for so long. Do you ever wake up coughing or "choking"? If so try sleeping on your side, at least in the meantime

Thats one of the few symptoms i dont have. But i do have something similar, i wake up multiple times per night because my throat is very dry and i need to pee

I sleeped on my stomach for years and i found it impossible to change that because its way too comfy

get proper tests then, otherwise it will slowly destroy your vascular system if you have it (intrathoracic pressure goes up first, then it gets worse from there)

the surgery doesn't sound that great if you look it up online, i'd rather use a mask

Brutal. While I haven't tested for it yet, I do always feel tired and suffer from extreme brain fog. My memory is also quite terrible.

What surgery are you talking about, there are multiple ones depending on the cause of the apnea
the one where they carve the inside of your throat and then it grows back anyway

There's nose dilaters if it's just that
I got hypertrophy of nasal turbinates (an excessive growth or enlargement of the bony structures located inside of the nose) and septumdeviation (the nasal septum (the bone and cartilage that divide the nose in the middle) is crooked, making one nasal passage smaller than the other)

Stomach sleep is suboptimal , back or side really is better
