Discussion Does anyone else move to the basement during the summer ?

Due to my room being on the sun sidey my room gets very hot and pretty much unbearable during the summer. In the cellar its nice and cool and sleeping is much comfier that way

That will just make more hot air come inside. Also i hear animals louder and the room will be too light

Maybe if it gets really hot, for more than three days in a row, including those nasty warm nights/(sub)tropical air. Because then I won't be able to counteract it with clever ventilation.
