In terms of beauty and sex, we have nothing going on. So, as a counter measure, do you guys ever purposefully try to develop your mental abilities: literature, math, history, physics, art, etc...?
I really don't bother learning for learning's sake. I figured out that if you don't have talent, there is not much hard-work can do to change things. "You can't shine shit" applies to both appearance and intelligence.
Besides, being a brain develops your ego more than your life quality.
