I used Xanax for social anxiety. Did almost nothing for me. 
The only drug that worked for my SA was MDMA. Sadly it fucked up
the chemical balance in my brain and threw me into a deep depression.

In the States, if you're given Xanax (or strong pain meds), they have you on a list that all hospitals and doctors can see.
