You're saying that being socially active is important to ascend.
Well, social activity begins by making friendships with your own gender, and from there you're supposed to meet the opposite sex.
So, by your theory (that I read on other threads and other places), guys reject other guys just because they are ugly.
I never thought a straight guy give a damned about how other guys look like and make friendships with other guys via that criterion.
