I used to be like most Americans and I put ketchup on fries, hotdogs, and sometimes scrambled eggs. Although, when I reached the age of about 13 or 14 - I completely stopped enjoying ketchup.

I enjoy my fries without ketchup, I never use ketchup anymore.
