Really? Actually, it sounds pretty cool to me. You might not necessarily reincarnate in this time period, it could be way off in the future (or the past). There is almost certainly at least one other intelligent life form somewhere in the universe, so you might reincarnate as one of them. Sounds nice to get another shot at life.

Just because the atoms you're made of will be used to make other life forms does not mean you will be "reincarnated". Otherwise you can consider you become the reincarnation of all the animals and plants you eat every day, because your body continuously build new cells from your food. To think about physiological processes as such would be absurd.
The concept of reincarnation does not make any sense, IMHO. I can't even say that I don't believe in it, since I can't even comprehend it.

I think the answer is quantum immortality. We never die in our perspective. If we die in one universe our conscience gets shifted into another universe where something happens that prevents your death. This could explain why people tend to act strange after a near death experience. They were from another universe where they died and things were slightly different in that universe. It could also explain the Mandela effect since in that situation an apocalypse could have happened and everyone’s conscience got shifted to another universe
