Some people whose intelligence and integrity I highly respect say that they believe in souls, and it's always out of personal experience that they can't properly put into words. I have never had any such experiences, so if you have can you share your story. Souls existing would combat some of the nihilism I've embraced as the result of the blackpill. And I need to combat that nihilism before it's too late and I fully give up on life.

And if you do believe in souls, do you think animals also posses them? If not, why are humans special?

Not as in a literal thing but I understand the concept of them

I don't have the passion or intelligence for a real answer to this, the best I can offer is Robert Sepehrs view on consciousness being linked to high bio photons, he has a lot of other videos on spiritualist evidence too

But personally I just think normies will go to hell :smonk:

Seems interesting bro. But I thought bio photons required a bio? Anyway, I'll give it a consideration.

I think normies are NPCs, with only a low possibility of becoming real people. - various life shituational things that potentially can lead to self reflection, growth, etc...

Nice to see you finally said something serious

no, they're terrible games

The problem with the word soul is that it's a nebulous concept and people use it to describe different things. You seem to be using the word in the most "literal" (for a lack of a better term my dumbass can think of) sense. Something that exists in a literal sense that is a separate entity from your brain, and possibly something that continues after death in the form of an afterlife or reincarnation. In that case, no.

And if you do believe in souls, do you think animals also posses them? If not, why are humans special?

Special in what way? I believe that both animals (at least mammals, birds, but possibly others) and humans (yeah yeah i know we're technically "animals") have some form of consciousness (which is what some people are referring to when they say "soul"). They clearly have emotions, memories, and feel pain. So in that regard, humans are not special.

If you mean "special" in the sense that we have complex technology, functional governments, agriculture, written languages etc. then it's just a matter of intelligence.

We inkwells are more pragmatic than most normies. Souls don't actually exist- or rather, we can't reach such a conclusion (that they exist) through thinking logically/scientifically/whatever. I don't think you can just start believing in such a thing by asking for others' reasons for believing in it. At least that's my take

I’m not sure if I do I think there’s something like that but I’m lost myself

yes we have souls
animals have them too but obviously they are different in nature

Could a human body operate without a soul? It most certainly can.

The 'soul' is simply the reaction to experience and stimulus of life.

There is no god or afterlife. To be fair a lot of us should be going fucking mental,
but societal conditioning keeps you in the gamer seat. They use all kinds of threats
and tricks to keep you docile and law abiding.

The law essentially is there to control the poor and those with imperfect familys and broken upbringings.
