my parents are nice to me, I'd rate them above average, but love is too strong of a word - I like them
maybe it's partiality a linguistic difference, because English 'love' has much broader meaning than 'love' in my mother tongue, but I'd say you only really love your gf/waifu and God if you're religious - 'love' towards parents, children, siblings etc. is a mix of fondness and respect at best
