Do trailer parks in America have more community than you find in areas with houses or apartments?

Because... here in the UK we don't have this option of living in an outdoorsy environment with large, shared outdoor space... which is what trailer parks might be like?

I mean, I hear they're poverty-stricken and rough but I just wonder if they at least might have community which is something lacking throughout almost all of British society and probably much/most of American society too.

I have thought in the past that I might like to live somewhere like that before, for this reason.

Thanks all :)

I don't know about trailer parks but I know in poor neighborhoods there is way more community, not unusual for people to hang around the porch and walk around with a beer in their hand, unfortunately its mostly bad in the long wrong, the people around you will drag you down and get you in trouble.
I guess you can sacrifice community and live in a nice block or have a bad community, but a community non the less.

Very true. More community in poor area houses and apartments and i assume trailor parks too. Basically areas where clusters of poorer people live.

Suburbs and rich areas are much harder. No one talks or sees each other much

Trailer parks are full of poorfags and junkies. If that's the community you want...

I'm ok with this. But I can't afford a villa on the coast. It's over.

So not all trailer parks are meth making bunkers lol but a few are. I lived in one for a year or so and it was pretty cool. Everyone get together and hung out on nights and the kids played together. So it was like it's own little community. From what I've heard or saw when I was traveling many are like that. I guess you just gotta be picky about em like any living community

That sounds good :)

I have no idea why the UK is so lacking in communities like that. I can think of one place that's a bit like that in the whole country - a place called Jaywick Sands. But they want to get rid of it, of course.

Even one of the residents there said he didn't want to leave and get put in some "poxy council flat". People know that they're isolating and miserable.

Slab city is a trailer park paradise in some desert located in California, with little to no rules, they don't have much, but they are still happy and help each other out
