I think a lot more people think it's insane than we realise, people are just afraid to wrongspeak. Was talking to some relatives a while back and my aunt who is pretty left wing admitted she thought it was insane that people were so in favour of it, and when it comes to kids undergoing "gender reassignment" she thought it was absolutely disgusting.
