Venting do people accuse you of being autistic?

my brother told me i should go to a doctor to get checked if i have autism. he isn't the first to tell me this and its really annoying. just because i have some compulsive tendencies doesn't mean i am autistic. even if i was who cares? i am able to work a job and live on my own supporting myself. whenever someone tells me im autistic its just another way of saying they think im an asshole. well last i checked there is no mental disease labeled asshole in the dsm5. i only ever met one person in my life who was diagnosed with autism and he was more articulate and put together than most people i meet.

And I noticed that anytime someone has solitary hobbies he has more chances of getting called an autistic, yet another proof that hobbieless normies can't think past their own bubble of nothingness.

Like the whole super awkward no emotion autistic type talking is how i talk to someone when i first get to know them. But id assume autistics are always like that not just when they first meet someone. Mild autism maybe?

I don’t think being autistic is necessarily bad in a way, I’ve been called autistic and know a few autistic people that are also highly functional in society you’re just a little different and I don’t think you should take offense in it really
