I think it’s the wrong way of framing the discussion. Men and women are inherently different physically and psychologically.
Men should have more responsibility and a fundamentally different role than women and as a result, yes, they “deserve” more one could say. But it comes at a cost, it’s not for free and the truth is if women had to agree to all that comes with being a man to say, vote, most probably wouldn’t do it.
Eg Men are the ones who fight and die to build society. Men work the “dirty jobs” women don’t want to maintain society. And men, broadly speaking, actually do care about women and want to provide for their family.
You cannot give women “equal rights”/voting/freedom from all constraints because the outcome is ultimately a bad one. Men and women both need to have some of their desires and impulses regulated for the greater good. The issue is in the modern western world only men are regulated now while women have had their constraints removed. Women don’t care about men’s wellbeing and most men are invisible to them. Women vote wrong on average (as in the vote for bad long term policies) and women abuse the power you give them in a way men didn’t in aggregate.
Sorry, but being a stay at home mom is the easiest fucking piss easy “job” a person can do. It’s so god damn easy, you can’t be fired, someone else pays for you to watch Netflix and change a few diapers, it’s not that bad. Yet women act like this was muh big oppression and like men were evil and keeping them down. This arrangement kept wages up since demand would still be just as high but there’d be fewer workers.
Gender roles were and are based — it’s basically just acknowledging the ways we’re different and what we’re well suited for. It’s acknowledging human nature and acknowledging the bad things that happen to a society that gives women more power. When you do that as we have in the west, men and women return to harems where a few top men share all the women, men as a group lose all motivation to produce and actively start to hate their own society, and even women are miserable and wind up as lonely cat ladies. NOBODY was helped by these changes yet women and normies will act like they were “liberated”. Please
I actually wonder if Starship Troopers was right that we need some kind of filter which would prevent anyone who doesn’t actually care about their society from voting. Required military service is something certain Asian countries do and maybe it’s not the best solution but it beats letting anybody vote. If women had to be in the military and subject to a draft in order to vote how many would still do it? Anyway, societies should basically be built with whatever norms get men and women to pair off with their approximate value match in stable monogamous relationships. The west clearly is not structured like that anymore and thus it’s become a dogshit society.
