It really is. Even was way different as little as 6 years ago.

Smartphones make it worse, but woman have always known this. They're legit taught it by the women in their lives (mother and family, friends) and recent generations were openly taught that in the media. It's not hidden, women are explicitly told to use not just their sexual value but their social value at large to capture men.
