Pretty much has for younger people. Of all the people I went to school with, maybe one couple is still together after ten years. Traditionalism is dead. Women are told to "get out there and live" and "travel the world" which is bascially taking a ride on the cock carousel through their 20s before "settling down" with a betabuxx when they suddenly want children and the clock is ticking. If anything, (((media))) and how it pushes these ideas on women has had an enormous impact.
Where do these meet-ups happen though? Bars? Because on university campus I mostly see sausage fests, groups of girls and lonely individuals. On the street and in the public transport I almost never see couples. I'm probably not looking at the right places and events - I guess festivals, nightclubs, bars, restaurants are where it happens. Or directly in the privacy of houses.
