Status is an odd thing, very hard to actually get.

It's more than just money, it's control, it's power. To get status you'd have to excel at something in life, to leverage that into a position of power.

It doesn't cure ugliness, but it's still a very powerful thing. Could land a woman with that, if the status were high enough to compensate for the ugly. Too bad I'm lazy, undisciplined and with no talents.
