They are very hypocritical. Instead of addressing the root causes that pushed men to such extremes, they choose to blame and vilify. It's easier to point fingers at a single "other," rather than acknowledge that the real culprit is the system, the society that allowed such a situation to develop in the first place. The irony is that by ignoring the real problems and choosing to mock the victims, they are only making things worse—like pouring gasoline on a fire.

This also reminded me of the recent "femcel" shooter. After she did what she did, I remember seeing redditards sympathise with her and blaming external factors for bringing her to her final act. This kind of hypocrisy is disgusting, because you know very well that if a man did such thing—he would be vilified and all blame would be put on him.
