Does anyone do them?

Dip
DipRow

I remember I used to do shit like this but I need to invest in some home gym equipment

can't really do it on my doorway chinning bar and I think I really need the supine-rowing angle to balance out the external rotation and scapulae retraction muscles

dips I dunno how important but I could use some tricep mean and IDGAF if I get massive tits from working lower pecs too much just so long as I don't get excess intenral rotation impingement

reverse pec dec feels like mainstream gym only so if you can't hit you infraspinatus / teres minor / rear delt you're doomed for internal rotatio impinge

I guess there's hyperextension rows and one-arm db bent flies but those flies fucking suck compared to the machine IMO fuck flies

Mogs me
I only get exercise from walking and Ring Fit

Grip

I want to get back to doing this kind of shit again, I couldn't do bottom image but I sort of briefly did an approximation of top image because I could "skin the cat"

not QUITE though. When you skin the cat you bring your feet right up to the bar which is a lot easier on your lats than what this guy is doing
KickFlexedMidptsource

black-pants guy from start (unlike white-pants guy above) is keeping his torso straight which not only creates more pressure on his lats but also is much harder on the rectus abdominis preventing the spine from extending

when I skinned cat in past I would bend torso as much as possible which reduces the leverage demands on your abs and in turn a shorter torso = less pressure on the lats

obviously bottom image is harder because if you extend your leg it increases demands on rectus abdominis and lats even more

In the case of white-pants black-shirt guy he also does a little hop/kick with his feet to help elevate his pelvis which reduces the demands on your rectus abdominis and lats, it's "cheating" basically

the little hop/kick thing is what I used to do because my legs are a huge fatass so I needed to do it due to weak abs/lats

if I can strengthen them though I could maybe work up to a non-cheating pelvic lift and do it in stricter form

Dips are hard on the front part of my shoulders

Dips are hard on the front part of my shoulders
the anterior deltoid assists the pecs in performing shoulder flexion so that's to be expected

that's part of why I'd love to get a tricep pushdown station so I could isolate the tris with less stress on the front delts

I've also tried kickbacks but it's tricky getting a good hit that way

I wish there was some kind of compound version of a triceps kickback

maybe not quite "perp to grav at full extension" but nearly so, which is I think the sweet spot that pushdowns achieves

basically the further from the pulley you stand the more pressure on tricep at full extension

the thing is a lot of those stations have guards to preven tthe cable moving away too much

which also fucks you if you want to do face-pulls

I hate how a lto of home gyms don't even have a horizantal row movement it's fucking stupid
