Experiment Did you have your wisdom teeth removed?

I have no wisdom teeth and only 28 teeth. My wisdom teeth just never appeared and never will (confirmed by dentist)

They removed all four in one session. They had to drill into my mandible to remove them since there were not fully grown and out at the time. Furthermore they split them up into pieces and ripped them out with forceps like a maniac. Not the most pleasant experience.

I put off having them done for more than a decade because I didn’t want to, and by the time I had to they were impacted so badly I needed a specialist surgeon in another state. Apparently there was a real danger of some nerves being damaged and my suffering at least partial facial paralysis. It all turned out ok tho.
