This Monday, I asked an important person for clarification about his project. He is a person with sway in a certain community, and his project is about creative endeavors, e.g., drawings and literature. I write literature, so you can see why his opinion of me matters now. He promised me that an excerpt of my penmanship would be featured in his platform. The promise was made approximately three months ago, so this week I decided that it was time to inquire of him what came about of his project.
The problem is, two days have passed, I know that he has logged in, I know that he knows that I know, and he didn't respond to my DM and posted some meme threads instead. I am very much prone to thinking the worst of situations and to me this has raised red flags. So I come to you guys in order to get a read on the situation.
What do you think? Am I making a mountain out of an anthill or is there real cause for concern? Was I too bold, too impatient? I need a neutral POV from which to parse the information.
