Stuff like literature, history, classics, etc. I remember when I was younger I wanted to study history, but then I realized how useless it was to get a job unless you want to be a teacher (or professor but there's so much nepotism in academia) so I didn't pursue it.

In high school most guys who picked Latin, art history and other humanities courses did it to avoid the math courses not because they were really interested in it kek. Also a few "teachers pet" type of foids who always got amazing grades because they spent all day studying.

I met a guy once he studied archeology and now works in a call center :feelsbadman:

i don't wanna go to cuckledge or cuckversity to get fucked over by debt and employers needing muh muh muh job experience even though i have a decent degree.

especially fucking humanities degrees nobody gives a flying fuck about them if you wanna go to those places at least get something in STEM.

"Did any of you flush tens of thousands of dollars down the toilet?"

I wish I was privileged enough to be able to, haha. Your family would either have to be rich enough for you to be able to rely on an inheritance for the rest of your life, or you'd have to be stupid.

Yes but I'm going to drop out

I did this lol

I'm a STEMcel so i was to forced to suffer demanding courses.
More job options but I couldn't do this because I always have been a retarded in all STEM things, too abstract for me

Same but in university. I tried physics first but I was too dumb for maths, now I do humanities (and I'm dumb for that too, but at least I can pass some exams). I'm not american so I didn't waste much money.

I risk that too. With my IQ I need to study triple than others and I still get shit grades which is demoralizing already, plus I'm too depressed to study in the first place sometimes.

I did anthropology but never finished.

If I was wiser at that age I'd have chosen something more useful!

If I had studied anthropology I would have done my dissertation about incels and use this forum as primary source :feelsLSD: :feelshehe:

I am studying history at the university, and at the end of this academic year, I will defend my bachelor's thesis in history. I went to study in this field only for the sake of deferring from compulsory military service.

I like history, from my point of view, it is the most important science in the life of a conscious person to know why the world as it currently exists has become just that. History books are literally the only scientific books I've read in my life.

Nope, studying compsci but I'm going to drop out. Linear algebra is too hard.

Humanities (and many social sciences too now) are a waste of money, mostly because of how pozzed the universities are with communist ideologies that are infecting everything. You're basically paying to get indoctrinated.

Literature? Who cares. It's just stories about tropes in the human condition and archetypes of people in the world. Life experience is a much better education.

History? Warped, biased, and always written by the victor. Get the general idea and learn the greater lessons, but skip the details, because unless you were there, every other account will be some version of the truth and the actual events that took place.

Classics? Only philosophy is useful, and it's not even necessary to be inculcated with many of the ancient teachings. Learn formal and informal logic, that's all you really need to know. Specific works by specific philosophers are only worth reading, if your own philosophizing is in that particular subject or area.

Serious? Linear algebra is one of the easier math courses for most. What do you find hard about it?

Talk to @Ahnfeltia. He might be able to help.

I studied the humanoids in uni. My favorite part was dissection! I got an a!

"Useful" is a strong word to describe philosophy. What practical merit(s) does philosophy have?
Philosophy is the foundation that underpins everything you know and have in the real world. The reason we are where we are today is because enough people started asking questions and some of those questions were interesting enough to push further and demand answers, which lead us to mathematics, ethics, and science - the practical, concrete products of philosophical thought.

Yup, BA in history.

Learned a lot and read a lot of good books. But it didn’t help me get a job though. My family pretty much paid for it though.
