I was really interested in them back in 2016/2017. Don't know why but they just randomly popped into my mind again. Like most interests I get I get really invested in something for around a year or two and then it fades out and I move onto the next thing.
By mapping videos I mean both non-fiction and fictional ones but it was mainly the fictional ones that I just starting thinking about again now. I used to watch a ton of these "Alternate future of Europe" videos and even some of the entire world. It's just quite an interesting concept to me and the people making these videos would very well utilise the medium to tell entertaining stories at least from what I remember.
I even made a couple of these videos myself on youtube channels that I no longer have access to and also no longer remember the names of so they're unfortunately lost to time which is a shame because they could have been interesting to look back on.
