Did any of you manage to stop distracting themselves?

I don't even enjoy playing video games and watching sitcoms and movies any more. But that's still all that I do in my free time.

I sit and think about how these are all pixels, the achievements mean nothing, I'm not even having fun, how it's all a skinner box designed to make me click like a rat for more dopamine, for that pixelated drop that will make the hours of boredom seem worth it for like half a second.

And yet I can't stop. I hate it but I can't stop doing it. Did any of you escape from this?

Nope, and probably never will. Reality sucks ass, and there's two ways out. I picked escapism and I regret it sometimes, but then I remember that the "real world", whatever that's supposed to be, is boring and cruel.

Have you ever considered that the dopamine influx from your stimuli is neutralizing your depression?
You could start going outside more often..

My last sliver of hope is my work. I have a pretty awesome job and can make as much as I want. Almost infinity potential. Self employed, it’s my own business, work from 5 feet away from my bed.

It’s my one hope to ascend so on top of a distracting cope, it’s helping me towards my goals.. hair transplant, money, cars, clothes, etc

Once shit gets a little better I’m gonna replace my desktop with a few laptops and go full degenerate, hotel hopping, city/country hopping, drugs, hookers, etc. long as I have access to my computer, it’s like 2 hours a day of work

no money no way to get them and still live with my parents at 25
