Why is that? I've seen many subhumans online and irl liking this franchise including me. I'm just a Capcom fan in general, I like most of their franchises.

Do truecels like hack and slash games with a metal song in the background plus with the cool cathedral gothic artstyle?

Only played 3 back in the day but loved it and ng+ difficulties.

i never played 5 or that shitty though.
i honestly prefer the more dark, gothic dante from 1 and 2, but mostly 1 rather than the crazy pizza time dante from 3 and onward.

i love how the reboots tries to make dante look punk, but he doesn't look punk ffs.
the only punk thing about his design in the reboot are his military boots and the union jack on his jacket

Played 5 recently. Got bored halfway through the game. It's all about learning to do flashy combos and i didn't had the motivation to learn all those mechanics like jump cancel n shiet. I can see why autistic incels can spend a lot of time in the training area mastering all the moves and stringing together crazy combos. Heard that the game have a high skill ceiling. I could have just continued the game not worrying too much about mastering the skills and just mindlessly mashing the buttons but i don't find that fun either so i just quit.

I played this one. I really like this one tbh. I like the old Dante easter eggs and the music in that game

tell me about it, iin 3, i kept losing to nevan.
this is because she had this bullshit attack where she kisses you and drains your health and you can't break free.
if you use devil trigger when she goes to kiss you, you can prevent this, but i didn't know that at thee time.
i had to grind a shit load of red orbs to buy more health and try to find blue orn fragments to increase my health bar.

btw, i know a cheat for 3 where you can unlock everything too.

Brutal, DMC 1 and 3 I could never beat. It fucking sucks because I like the games. I wish there were Easy difficulties

If you gave it time you probably would beat 3. I beat it on harder difficulties and if I remember right you had to combo enemies to damage them.
