I recently replayed dmc 3 on ps2 emulator game is everything you could ask from a stylish hack and slash its hard not easy like that normie dmc5. I played it after 10 years and i was shocked to find out how much it still holds up. But with how cuckcom remakes sell i think its safe to assume dmc is also going to get remake treatment. I also use think same for re4 no way it needs remake but those faggots remade it and it sold great

Dmc 1 and 2 should get a remake since they both suck. DMC3 and 4 don't need any demake since they were pretty refined but knowing crapcom they will remake them anyway. RE4 never needed remake unlike RE6 which was just a huge mess.

I dropped DMC1 of HD collection after i saw that it's missing shitload of graphical effects, audio is fucked and ofc you have no cool save states of pcsx2 which let me not to waste time on repeating shit after dying vs boss. I have played DMC3 long time ago along with 4 but never finished it (i was playing on keyboard lol)

HD collection is better for 3, you can atleast download a style switcher mod and the input lag on pcsx2 is already way worse than hd collection, although id say use a switch emulator if your computer can handle it

PCSX2 is absolutely dogshit when it comes to input delay, rpcs3 and also xemu emulator mogs it hard. Shame that their devs don't do anything to improve upon it since rest of it is really good.
