Depends. There's no "average man" because they are all affected by such varied factors. Some have girlfriends because they were lucky; some are alone and have been a virgin their entire life.

From what I've seen, the truly average men (so no rich CEO Chads who travel the world but also no fully blackpilled men) fall under one of two categories:
1. Lonely single guy with maybe a pet at home to comfort him. Lives in a small, shitty apartement. Either obsesses over his wageslave job and spends even his free time working or has some sort of low-effort hobby to cope with like playing a shitty MMO (I've known normalfags in the past who wasted hundreds on 'skins' in online games) or watching youtubers. Either fat or manlet.
2. Lonely guy with an annoying gf/wife he betabuxxes. His partner has nothing in common with him but she's the only thing that gives his shitty life some sort of meaning. Pretty much spends all his free time doing stuff for her; going shopping with her, watching romcoms etc. Will probably end up getting divorce-raped after two children.

Might be a third category, a guy with nieces / nephews who is involved in family in his spare time, but even that is become rare as lone single men are now all thought of as pedos.

It depends on the location. In urban cities, yey will perform poorly. In smaller cities, they will generally be the higher class.
