DeepSeek needs improvements but we're getting there boys...

I've been using ChatGPT for a long time already, and I can with near certainty say that I'm super disappointed with the fact that most American tech companies (if not all) are in it for the profit.... before I paid for the €200 version, you are only allowed to ask X amount of questions, it does indeed give high IQ and very intelligent answers but not like the upgraded versions. You can't share pictures to rate the face, only X amount per day before it 'forces' you to buy the upgraded version, to throw money in the lab of the fatcats who are profiting from this big time (while their employees most likely just get enough to pay their student debt off in 20 Years, if they're lucky).

I've noticed deepseek needs time to respond, sometimes misinterprets questions, can't handle the high traffic of users using the open AI etc but I hope that those things will be fixed.

Fuck chatgpt, done with it.

It depends. I’ve found it answers in a vague manner, misrepresents facts, or just outright makes shit up quite a lot of the time. Hoping deepseek is better

unfortunately if tiktok got banned out of fear the CCP is stealing user data I think deepseek will be banned as well. especially since (((USA))) is owned by capitalists that want consumers to buy their own products so they would lobby for its ban

yeah and also it always agrees with everything you say even when you're wrong. like if you say "the earth is flat, so why do people think it's round?" it will respond with "indeed, people believe the earth is round when it's really flat bla bla bla"

I find it annoying that I need to restart the entire chat, and everything is lost when the ai can't handle high traffic but my hopes are high

Chatgpt sometimes (rarely though) does that too.
I once sent a picture of my Brown hair, initially it said 'brown' , then I said:
'No it clearly is black'

And it responded:
My bad, it indeed appears to be black!

I was talking about chatgpt not deepseek (I haven't used it much yet) and yeah it doesn't always fact check the stuff you tell it

deepseek is open source, some American corp can fork it and modify it.
