Portraying incels as bad makes people feeling good by :
1) Men : Having empathy for women (natural hero joy)
Women : Comfort them about the rationalized idea that they are moral and choose more based on personality therefore maximizing positive hormones produced by empathy (maximization only irrational being like women are capable of)
2) Not admitting incels are victims so keeping feeling good by shitting on lower social status class (natural ego boost social status related)
3) Not admitting incels are victims and can work on themselves so don't feeling bad because of empathy about your privileges/just world fallacy view that would break because they would understand that incel genetics can't be modified (natural bad feeling created by empathy when someone of your animal group is in pain)
It's not only the media. No. It's true that people felt good using blacks like they do with incels, but incels interests are in direct conflict with the opportunity of whiteknighting to try to get a women in a liberated sexual market.

One day they won't be expensive so that cope will be available, but it will probably be just be another (good). People are attracted more about the validation sex bring you and affection of women than just sex. It will be like an upgraded version of pets, it still won't give you validation.
