I don't get similar stares often, but when it happen they're are mostly out of fear or disgust.
It just happened to me in CVS. I went to go pick something up but when I walked inside three females were staring at me, one with wide eyes, the other with a disgusted look, and another one looking at me while talking to the one with the disgusted look and giving me "you are a creep" eye.

When people stare at me they look genuinely intrigued. As if i'm some kind of new species that just came out.
