As most of you already know, it was announced last week that an Incels Wiki page is currently under works, and several of us, myself included, volunteered as contributors.

To prepare, I've been looking into some of my favorite writers, who have a lot to say about sexual attraction and mate selection. I found this interesting talk that David M. Buss gave with the podcast Art of Charm. I don't agree with everything said, but many of the concepts Buss explores have a lot of overlap with Incel theories.

Some of the things Buss discusses are things I'm currently researching at present. Concepts such as "Mate Value Discrepancy", Mate retention strategies, Benefit bestowing/Cost inflicting strategies, The impact of status, The effects of online dating on the contemporary mating market (@FACEandLMS talk a lot about this), etc.

The one major setback of Buss (at least in this talk) is that he focuses heavily on status (which the MGTOW community leans more towards; Stardusk for example was very inspired by Buss), and far less on looks theory, especially how it impacts men. However, it should be noted that he is the father of modern Evolutionary Psychology, which I think makes much of his work credible.

On a more positive note, I think that the more scientific citations we have at our disposal, the less dismissive people can be towards concepts such as looks theory.

Lastly, a big thanks to @Master for the opportunity.

I'll watch it later, but just gotta note the small (Episode 627) in the title there :feelsmega: Are all of his videos like this?

You're doing god's work senpai. This incel wiki could give a voice to those of us living in the shadows.

I'm not a big fan of the podcast, because former guests were dating coaches, and as a general rule, I discount those who aren't coming from a scientific angle, because they are salesmen first and foremost.
