What the hell, mang? Des Moines?? I am not sure the ‘’historical significance’’ argument holds water here, because there is no 100% confirmation of the origin of their name. They think the name comes from some French monks, but they are not entirely sure. They should surrender this city to the French!
The second largest city in Iowa is Cedar Rapids. This is better, but not ideal. Cedar Rapids should be a river’s name, not a city’s name. But there is a river called Cedar Rapid, but it is missing the ‘s’…
Third largest city in Iowa is Davenport. The problem is it is not a coastal city. Coastal cities should have ''port'' in their name. It’s named after some random guy named Davenport

Fifth largest city is Iowa is Waterloo. The problem is that it is named after the Waterloo battle. Waterloo is located in Belgium, but actually in United Kingdom of the Netherlands. Eitherway, it has no business being a US city.
And fucking finally, sixth largest city in Iowa is IOWA CITY! IOWA CITY SHOULD BE THE CAPITAL OF IOWA STATE!!
