Holy shit is there anything worse than cystic acne in high school? I had a friend who was a manlet with a baby face in 9th grade and then one day in 10th grade he walked in and it was like puberty hit him with a brick. MASSIVE pimples all over but even worse he remained a manlet. Awful awful awful!

I really cant think of anything other than being extremely ugly and short perhaps. You can get rid of acne though, you cant fix your face.

I had acne so bad that my nickname was "pizzaface". Then I tried to treat it with toothpaste and it just formed giant acne SCABS all over my face. Add that to other terrible looks, negative social experiences, high inhib, and a bad home life, and I was suicidal as young as 13.

Yeah, and it was especially brutal for me, because I had terrible acne as SOON as I has self-awareness. My very first experience of being aware of how I fit in among others and the world around me was being an ugly looking red faced fuck. I never got to experience any sort of acceptance when I began to understand my place in the world, just awkwardness and disgust. That was the only thing I knew when I began to understand my place in the world for like the first 3.5 years of this process. Hardly a good thing to lean on. I would literally cry when I looked in mirrors.

I didn't quite have cystic acne, but I had severe acne that left my entire face red. However, there is a drug called Accutane that is almost guaranteed to clear it up completely and forever. It is basically a miracle drug. After taking it, I get like 2 pimples a year now since taking it over 15 years ago. None of my other flaws (ie norwood) have been so easy to fix as acne, to be honest. However, acne did start me down the path of inceldom and could almost be considered the catalyst.

I'm not sure if this counts as 'cystic' acne, but my acne and hygiene in HS were bad enough that I would pop my pimples and then grow giant, disgusting MRSA boils on my face.

Honestly can't relate more. I have pretty normal features nothing to crazy out of proportion and could reach normie status if my face wasn't devastated by pimples and dark marks from trying to pop those fucking shits. Just hoping for the day my hormones decide to calm down (I'm fucking 19 already) and then ill proceed to looks max and hopefully reach chadlite status one day. Because I was trying to get into real good shape but then realize it was pointless when your face was disgusting thanks to fucking acne since you know there in gym for your face.
