I've done some research on that and watched a couple of actual suicide videos. Seems like unconsciousness kicks in within 30seconds to 1 minute. What is 1 minute to a lifetime of suffering.

I do not like the idea of a huge drop and a sudden snap, so I have made up my mind to go with suffocating. 4 years to go....
