Learning abstract Linear Algebra + Real Analysis at the same time. Proving theorems left and right. Mathmaxxing is one of the greatest copes because you feel like you are moving towards something, discovering the beautiful theorems and results. I forget about the conditions of inceldom when I mathmaxx tbh ngl.

Literally just mathmaxx bro tbh

High IQ.

Being master mathematician makes pussies rain.

But seriously any cope is a good cope tbh

You should mathmaxx too. I used to really hate this stuff, but it became interesting later on.

no bro. if you like art, music, or any other hobby, that flow state you get when you're enjoying it can be achieved with math too. Keeps your mind off things too tbh.

iqs me tbh too autistic to do math

Keep mathmaximg one day it will help you become a better wagecuck

I love this book Calculus by Tom Apostol. You should try it. It has a lot of proof exercises.

I scored an 80 on my college math placement test after having learned basic calculus in 36 hours. Saved me money and time. :feelsokman:

based mathcel tbh.

I think I've seen you mention your interest more than once.

math is boring to me

Difference between engineers and mathematicians?

An engineer sees fire and water, he pours water on the fire.

A mathematician sees fire and water, he shouts "There is a solution" and then goes write a paper about it

low dop + gaps in highschool maths -> i couldn't do either of those in college and couldn't get my degree because of it

you mog me into another solar system

Most awesome bro! Look into high frequency trading?... You can prob be a quant that trades on his own account.

@Pareg ur cope he copys :feelstrash:

This is exactly what I did in uni this year (learning real analysis and linear algebra)
Math is a beautiful cope.

Based mathcel

I'm taking Real Analysis next semester. Wish me luck boyo

I'm thinking of going into data science tbh. HFT seems interesting though.

Good luck bro, especially for real analysis. Linear algebra isn't really hard!

Do you study math or did you just happen to take those classes?

Linear Algerba isn't too bad. I'm learning from a theory focused book called Linear Algebra Done Right, by Sheldon Axler. It is a very good book ngl, but it doesn't have a lot of practical applications; It focuses mainly on the theory, which is what I like.

For Real Analysis, I'm using Understanding Analysis, by Abott. I'm reading it before the class ,so I don't get fucked over.

I really took these classes. Next year I will also study probabilities I think (along with complex analysis maybe).

Well... I believe linear algebra has less pratical applications in itself than real analysis. But it's just beautiful as well.

I may get these books, thanks for refering to them.

I'm taking Probability Theory next semester too, so maybe we could ask eachother questions tbh.

Math is not a bad cope.

By the time you're done practicing, you'll be too tired to care about your inceldom.

Based and redpilled brother. I could be probably learning some of those topics rn, but recently I have been reading about the history of greek mathematics. Might as well also drop the slow asf math thread on wizchan that has a bunch of books posted too.

The best part is that mathematics is such a massive field that you aren't going to be done anytime soon. Honestly, the final dream is to math monk and ascend beyond mortal needs. The final cope.

Ah I've heard Apostol is pretty good. It's odd since it starts with Riemann sums first, though I guess that shouldn't be too big a deal if you have already done calculus. While I am working on this history book I am reading I am eyeing quite a few textbooks I want to start up.

I'm taking Probability Theory next semester too, so maybe we could ask eachother questions tbh.
If we have problem posing threads I am all in. Honestly it is a good skill to have for research and general improvements in problem solving (If you know how to post simpler guiding problems you progress in a problem at hand should accelerate) I remember some random book that talked about this though other than the extensive examples I think the main gist is rather simple. A lot of it comes down to identifying key parts of a mathematical piece of material and asking questions such as "What if (not)...?", "Can this be generalized/be applied to more specific cases?". I am an autist so I have downloaded a lot of pedagogical material, oops.

Maths if good for finance & engineering & possibly IT. Brilliant.

Do you practice any questions in those books btw?
