There was a post and most of use are in the early 20's, now I'm curious about education.

No option for high schoolers, over for high schoolcels :feelsrope:

PhD in Gender Studies, Judith Butler was my doctoral advisor.

Superb, god if only I could have that skill. I think he won the Chopin piano competition at one point, not sure tho.
He got 2nd place in the 1965 competition

Beast, you play?
Yeah, I'm a beginner though (1 year), but I really need a teacher, I know I can't advance properly without one.

I'm trying to learn bach inventions (already learned 1, 2 and I'm learning 3) and chopin easiest waltzes (69 op 1 and op 2).

Here its a bit of me playing (waltz op 69 no 1), even though now my phone is fucked and I can't record more. The piano is also out of tune, need to fix it

That's really good for 1 year tbh. First Chopin piece I learned was the Waltz in a minor the opus posthumous one. But yeah, a teacher will really help especially with playing; you can probably learn most of the theory alone tbh. Love this performance; dudes got talent

You play for how much time? Do you have any experience with teachers? And thanks for the feedback

I've played for maybe about 7 years in total but on and off starting when I was like 7. Don't really too much anymore cause super depressed but I have had a few teachers; they really help cause learning solo is brutal tbh. Honesty, I'm average, but I'm much more better at music theory, even took some more advanced classes last years in university. You gotta check out "The Study of Counterpoint," personally one of my favorite subjects( species counterpoint ) but really useful thing to read about.
