One of my tricks is to turn video recording on my phone and let my arm hang. That way I don't have to push the button or do any aiming. I just sort of get my hand or arm in the correct position and later on when going through the video I screen cap the good "scenes ". Much safer than traditional snapping.

Sometimes I'll also act like I'm texting and chuckle at nothing while filming or snapping. That way people think nothing of me lifting my phone up.
