Washed out bright visuals. Worse hotbox that causes the game to be slippery. Worse music with no options to play the original soundtrack

Typical lazy UE4 slop with default overly bright lighting + washed out fog that destroys colors (same as in MH World). Anyway i never liked the series i don't think gameplay that require very precise jumping sometimes with tight timings can work in 3d environment. I had zero fun with it so stopped playing it after a couple of levels.

Crash 4 was a lot better and focused more on movement rather than precision jumping.

I hate crash 4. There's nothing wrong with precision platforming. It works fine in 3D. Crash 2 and 3 hardly focus on platforming. 1 is the only one that can be considered a proper platformer

Whoever thought that fog was a good idea is an idiot. In combination with bloom it made the game dreadful to look at

Yeah, I have it on xbox one and it sucks.

I don't even want to get into the whole graphics crap.

The pill shaped hitbox ruins everything.

They have also used the jumping mechanic from Warped (part 3) for all remasters.

Others have noticed that as well. The problem is that this doesn't work for the level design of part one and two ... .

At least the Sppyro remaster hasn't been ruined.

I have even given away the nsane trilogy to a co-worker for free because that is how much I hated it.

The graphics look bad, very bad, even on PC.

A lot of stuff looks like plastic.

Agreed completely. The pill shaped hotboxes are the worst part. Makes some levels borderline impossible.

Why? The N'verted levels and Dingo levels suck but I liked everything else about it.

I guess it's to do with the quality of the art direction, primarily.

I played og's and remakes and had fun with all. Liked 4 as well.
