It's pretty shit in most countries but just giving my experience. I've noticed prices for things seem way, way higher than they should be. We all know the blackpill about how people used to be able to buy a house after working for a couple of years and how those days are long gone, but once you're a wageslave and have to start to living in the world this shit is brutal. Especially when you're a low IQ/talentlesscel like me and can't even get a decent job.

Legit it's an absolute fucking joke. It's fucking infuriating how much better life was for boomers. The fact that everyone needs a degree, and even that isn't enough (as seen with the example of engineers with roommates) to afford to live is just lol tier.

People talk about "I can't wait to leave my parents house and be independent!!" and I'm just like, what? How the fuck is being under the foot of a landlord in a shitty 1 room apartment ANY better? JFL. Every single person who works full time should be able to afford at least a small house. Of course we will never, ever see those days again. The worst part is i told my engineer colleagues/classmates who were so happy to move in with 1-2 roommates "do you think it's fucking normal that someone who graduated in engineering with honors from a good university has to resort to this?" and they just stared at me blankly
Then they told me boomer platitudes of "you gotta start small, live inexpensively and save before you can live it up big blabla". LMAO

There are actually some decent cheap places to live in the UK, Birmingham or Liverpool for example. Basically everywhere except the southeast of England. I feel like you guys have it good compared to Canada. The only cheap places here are in bumfuck nowhere. It is getting worse there though.
