Ok that makes sense. I have also used Suse (a very long time ago), Fedora (a long time ago) and since then mainly Ubuntu.
Never used arch (except if you count SteamOS) nor debian (except if you count raspbian).

i use fedora for my main system due too it being the closest to a stable rolling release, this is due too gaming mostly and kde works well on fedora. i use debian for my scraping server/download server, just need something that works. i also use debian for some vm, becasue i need some .deb packages at times
Makes sense. Maybe I should give Fedora a chance again. A few computers cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 so I will have to fully switch to Linux to them next year anyway, including this one. So maybe I'll try out Fedora. Previously I dual-booted Ubuntu and Fedora with a shared /home, do you know if that still would be possible?
unsure if that is possible still. i recommend fedora over ubuntu, because canonical has been big dumb for some time now
