Just got prescribed 20mg Paxil third antidepressant I’m trying, at first they seem to work, Effexor 225mg made me hypomanic during sudden withdrawl thats all I’ve noticed, wondering what the consensus here is.

It's placebo, it has more negative side effects than positive i'd not take them, i'd rather order drugs like psilocybin and mdma both in studies and from what i've heard from people can help with depression and anxiety, for me magic mushrooms helped a lot, while on ssri i only got more depressed and more anxious.

They definitely help with the anxiety and depression in my experience, and they somewhat suppress negative thoughts. But that's all temporary as the body gets used to them after a month or so. They'll also greatly lower your sexual libido, and you may be completely unable to ejaculate, but again those side effects are temporary and they'll gradually go away when you stop taking the pills.
Two times as many people feel a minimal effect compared to the placebo group according to meta studies.

If you go through 10 different types you might find one that works for you. Overall though they're goyimfeed.

Well, I'm on them + antipsychotics. I guess I need them for anxiety and depression, and I have no problem being an unfeeling zombie. I hated my feelings. I want to feel unhuman. They help in that aspect.

I've been I'm Desvenlafaxine since January and it has helped me. I feel better, not suicidal and I feel great about my fitness progress
